Andreas Dermanis is a self-shooting film-maker from London, experienced in directing, editing and delivering content. With an initial grounding in entertainment television, he moved towards human story focussed content, creating a number of films in Greece and the Balkans. His work has been commissioned and broadcast by channels including Antenna, BBC, Channel 4, MTV, The Royal Academy of Arts and Vice.
Music work includes performances and documentaries for artists including Asap Rocky, Bastille, Carly Rae Jepsen, Emeli Sande, Foster the People, The Kooks, Labrinth, Mika, One Direction, Pet Shop Boys and The Shins. International press directed for artists including Bon Jovi, Demi Lovato, Paul Simon, Shania Twain, Shawn Mendes and Sting, 
Premiered through Greek channel Antenna in 2017, Andreas released his first feature documentary 'Andi'. The film was shot in Greece and Albania and discusses identity through the eyes of the actor Nikos Gelia who was part of a generation of Albanians that found themselves migrating to Greece. 'Andi' was chosen for Official Selection at Tirana International Film Festival under it's 'Reflecting Albania' section and also televised in Serbia. 
Andreas next film 'Colours' is currently being shot in Athens. The film explores the lives of Afghan migrants living in Greece and continues his interest in exploring themes of outsider figures and marginalised communities.
